Meet Audra


Audra Yetter is the founder of Neuro Speech MT, LLC. She is deeply committed to utilizing her extensive knowledge in the field of communicative and cognitive rehabilitation to help people maximize their personal communication and cognitive abilities. She currently practices in Gallatin County, Montana, and also  provides telehealth services to individuals across the state of Montana. 

Audra received a Bachelor of Science in Psychological Science from Montana State University in 2005.  She subsequently achieved her Master of Science in Medical Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Washington in Seattle. There, she was fortunate to receive world-class mentorship working with individuals with neurologic disease and injury. She also received mentorship from leaders in the field of motor speech disorders arising from neurodegenerative disease, and participated in research efforts focusing on speech motor programming in individuals living with Parkinson's disease. 

Following graduation, Audra worked in acute care and outpatient hospital settings for over 12 years. There, she served individuals with a range of communication, swallowing, voice, and cognitive impairments across the late adolescent to end of life spectrum. She worked on interdiscplinary teams, including utilizing specialized skills in recognizing neurological speech, language, and cognitive patterns, to contribute to neurologic diagnostic processes. She has participated in numerous experiences mentoring graduate students, educating other healthcare professionals regarding interaction skills with individuals with neurologic speech, language, and cognitive disorders as well as providing continuing education to other speech-language pathologists. 

Audra is currently the only Montana speech-language pathologist who is board certified by the Academy of Neurologic Communication Disorders and Sciences (ANCDS), as well 1 of less than 60 in the United States with this rigorous professional achievement. She is also a ADHD certified clinical professional (ADHD-CCSP), offering a high standard of ADHD and executive function coaching to adults and older adolescents. 

Audra has expertise in the diagnosis and management of speech, language, and cognitive problems associated with motor speech disorders, aphasia, concussion and traumatic brain injury, cognitive-communication disorders, neurodegenerative disease, Cancer-Related Cognitive Impairment, and communicative and cognitive sequelae of brain tumors, brain surgery, ADHD, and other neurogenic disorders. Audra has received multiple ASHA continuing education awards and strives to stay abreast of advances in brain science and neurorehabilitation to bring the best possible care to the medically remote region of Montana. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association's Special Interest Group 2, Neurogenic Communication Disorders. 

Goose Yetter

Goose is a treasured employee of Neuro Speech MT. He is often found sleeping in the background during telehealth sessions. Goose is an unwavering supporter of all of Neuro Speech MT's activities and currently holds Employee of the Year award. In his free time he enjoys hiking, backpacking, nordic skiing, swimming, rafting, meeting other dogs at the dog park, greeting neighbors enthusiastically, destroying tennis balls,  and catching food dropped by a toddler.
